Tele2 Executive Trainee Program

As a trainee, you will participate in our one-year program, based at the Tele2 headquarters in Stockholm. There, you’ll work closely with – and be mentored by – a top Tele2 executive and their leadership team. You will become one of the closest colleagues to the Executive and this will give you a great opportunity to gain a deep understanding of the continuously evolving telco industry.

As a trainee you will support your executive and their respective leadership team in several projects and ventures, you are also expected to assume ownership of the tasks delegated to you. These can involve complex business cases and projects that will impact the business going forward as well as daily work tasks, all to create a foundation from which you as a trainee can evolve and get a head start in your professional career.

The job will be challenging, but you will be filled with enthusiasm from colleagues eager to support you. The team spirit is strong, and you will not be alone. It’s a year filled with hard work, networking and laughter, where you will find your place in the organization.

What we look for

Must haves:

  • Proven academic excellence with documented academic degree

Meriting:

  • Preferably a Master’s Degree in Business, Finance, and/or Engineering
  • International experience, e.g. exchange semesters
  • Experience from relevant extracurricular activities such as student associations
  • Professional experience, e.g. internships or a current employment
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English

As an Executive Trainee at Tele2, you will shadow and build a relationship with one of Tele2’s management team members for an entire year. You will have a large responsibility from day one, supporting your management team member in their daily work.

Words from our CTIO Trainee

A few words from our CTIO Trainee, Patrik, talk about what he will do in his new role at Tele2.

“As a CTIO trainee, I will get an insight into how our IT and technology organization works and support the Head of Digital Capabilities & Technologies and the DCT Office. During the first couple of weeks, I will get to focus on different divisions such as IT, Networks and TV. I will also visit our server rooms and network sites and sit down with the network monitoring department. All to gain an understanding of the organization as a whole and build a network of contacts.”

What happens after your application? 

Are you up for the challenge? Great, because the application period opens up the 11th of October until Decembe 1st! Selection, tests and group cases are conducted continuously, therefore we encourage you to submit your application sooner rather than later.

  • Send in your application: 11 October – 1 December (sooner rather than later)
  • Logic and personality test and CV Screening: 11 October – 6 December
  • Digital Group case: 29 October – 19 December
  • Personal interview with our Talent Acquisition Team: 5 November – 10 January
  • Assessment days: 8 January (@ our office), 14 January (@ our office) and 16 January (Digital)
  • Executive interviews: End of January and February
  • References and background check: Beginning of February
