Kickstart your career in Software Engineering & coding with our Tech Trainee Program!

The program spans over a year, starting in September. You will build a solid foundation in IT and Tech. You will be part of our Customer Journey tech department while also having the opportunity to familiarize yourself with our hotels by visiting different locations multiple times during the year. Additionally, you will gain an understanding of various aspects within our IT department and collaborate with other relevant stakeholders and teams.

Your home base will be our tech department called Customer Journey, where we have our web & app, CRM, Loyalty, API & Integration, and more. We work with modern technologies and processes, including Azure cloud, .NET, Javascript, TypeScript, Next.js 15, React Native, React, Kubernetes et.c. We work agile with devops principles and test automation.

You will be part of a small group of Tech Trainees and other young talents within our organization and engage in training, learning and networking activities. You will be supported by several people in our organization including your team lead, other developers, our tech trainees from this year, a mentor and more. We customize the program as much as possible to set you up for success. The plan is for you to continue as a Software Engineer with us at Scandic after completing the program.
